Commonly named "Winged Everlasting", Ammobium is a perennial flower native to Eastern Australia, and is the only member of the genus Ammobium. The flowers are small and have white petals with a yellow centre, they can be dried. The stems are grey with an unusual external ribbing. In Australia, Ammobium is an important source of food for painted lady caterpillars.

Ammobium has tiny (thumbnail size), daisy-shaped, bright white flowers with a golden-yellow center.
